Watercolour, Metallic Watercolour and Black Ink | A2

WIN this bespoke painting celebrating the Fylde Sand Dunes and the return of one of the UK’s rarest reptiles.

A breathtaking, one-of-a-kind A2 painting of the Fylde Sand Dunes, worth £2,500, is up for grabs – and it’s helping shine a spotlight on one of the UK’s most threatened species.

Created by watercolour artist Holly Moeller in collaboration with the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, this artwork captures the beauty of the Fylde coast and the characterful charm of the rare sand lizard.

The piece was specially created to raise awareness of the Fylde Sand Dunes Project and the vital conservation work restoring this precious habitat. Over 400 sand lizards, one of the UK’s rarest reptiles, are now thriving once again on the dunes thanks to ongoing habitat restoration. Once pushed to the brink by habitat loss, these remarkable reptiles were returned to the coastline several years ago and appear to be a steady population, offering a rare piece of positive climate and conservation news.

The painting is mounted and framed by a professional local framers five minutes down the road from Holly's home art studio. It is also signed by the artist with Holly's signature quill.

This competition offers not only the chance to win a stunning original painting, but also to celebrate a conservation success story unfolding right on our doorstep.

To enter, follow the Lancashire Wildlife Trust on either Facebook or Instagram and view instructions on how to enter.

Recognising that so many people are interested in the piece, Holly is also offering 15% off a limited edition Giclee art print of this bespoke painting to everyone who enters as a thank you.
