How do you protect my personal information?

We are dedicated to keeping your information safe. That's why Kettle & Quill uses well-known software brands with in-built privacy systems so that our customers' protection is guaranteed. For example, Wix and Mailchimp comply with the strictest GDPR levels, meaning your data is kept safe. What types of information does Kettle & Quill collect about me? 

We will ask for your name, email address, home address and financial details if you place an order with us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we only ask for your email address. This information is collected so that we can fulfil your orders and send you our newsletter. We never take any sensitive personal information such as information about health, sexuality, religion or politics.

How long will your hold my information for? 

We will hold your data until we no longer have a valid reason to keep it or when you ask us to remove your data from our records. From time to time, we clear our mailing list of subscribers who are no longer engaged.

How can Kettle & Quill use my personal information? 

1) so that we can fulfil your orders and/or send you our newsletter 

2) to deal with complaints, enquiries and requests

3) to personalise services so we can better fulfil our orders and suit your tastes

When will you use my information to contact me? 

If you have signed up to our newsletter, we will contact you whenever we send out our newsletter. This is likely to be at least once or twice a month, more during big launches or peak gifting season. 

If you have not signed up to our newsletter, we will only contact you when fulfilling your order. This involves confirmation of your order, receipts, and a check-in to ensure your order arrived safe and sound. We may also ask you for a review at this stage.

 

Will I be signed up for marketing services? 

We will only send you marketing emails if you have subscribed to our newsletter.

Does Kettle & Quill share my information with anyone else? 

At present, Kettle & Quill does not share your information with any other company or individual. The one exception may be if Kettle & Quill shares photos of a bespoke commission, in which case our policy of sharing on social media will have been agreed and signed to in the commission contract.

Can I delete my information? 

You can unsubscribe from Holly's newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of her newsletter. Alternatively, you can email Holly directly and ask her to remove all of your information from her database. You can email her at hollymoellercreative@gmail.com.

What are my rights? 

Remember, you are in control of your information. You have a right to request to see what information Kettle & Quill holds about you, to ask us to correct information that is wrong, to request we only use your information for certain purposes or to unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.

At present, Kettle & Quill does not use any cookies.

From time to time, we may update our privacy policy. If that happens, we will send out a newsletter with a link to the policy update so you can read about the new terms.
